Where do we meet?
We meet you at Gilly’s Restaurant and Marina unless otherwise communicated. Located just 30 minutes outside of Parry Sound, Gilly’s is accessible by road and by water.

Where to park
We pay your parking fee at Gilly’s Marina when you are taking a tour with us. We would really appreciate it if you would arrive in as few cars as possible, not just for our savings, but for taking care of our precious planet.
What we provide
We are happy to provide kayaks or stand-up paddleboards (depending on your selected tour), paddles, life jackets (PFDs), and Transport Canada required safety equipment.
What to bring
Water to drink, a water-resistant camera or phone, sunscreen and you may wish to bring a snack as well if you feel you’ll need one.
If you’re on a full day trip you will want to bring a lunch for yourself as well as a towel and bathing suit in case you feel like swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Bay when we are on our lunch break. We have large coolers onboard that will keep your lunch cool.
What to wear
Sun hat, bathing suit, clothes you don’t mind getting wet in, water shoes or sandals. It’s also a great idea to bring along a windbreaker or rain jacket in case of inclement weather or you get cold. This would be more in the early or later months of the season.
Please note, if you are wearing sunglasses or prescription glasses, it’s strongly recommended that you get a sunglass strap to keep them safe.
While on the water we ask that you…
- Wear a life jacket at all times
- Do not consume alcohol or drugs.
- Stay with your guide and please follow their lead and instructions. Our guides are super kind and patient and will always lead with respect. We ask that you reciprocate their kindness and respect.
While on shore we ask that you…
- Practice leave-no-trace principles. If we bring it out there, we bring it home so the water and land stay pristine forever.
- Please do not disturb the vegetation or wildlife. Walk carefully when on shore and especially avoid stepping on any moss and lichens.
Where do I go to the bathroom?
There are wilderness toilets out on the islands where we can stop if you need a toilet. We bring along a toilet kit with all the essentials for your convenience.
Should I tip my guide?
We know you’ll really enjoy our guides, they are truly awesome! If you wish to show your appreciation of them by tipping them, they would truly appreciate it.

It’s a great idea to enjoy lunch or dinner at Gilly’s after your tour, they have such amazing food! They specialize in fresh fish and chips, homemade desserts, and delicious cocktails. They have something for everyone. Their lineups can be out the door though so it’s best to book ahead.
Their gift shop is great to pop into if you just want ice cream or a snack or some beautiful mementos of Georgian Bay.
