This is the best way to discover the stunning beauty of Lake Huron. Our guided SUP day trip is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery of this unique and diverse paddling destination.
Board our Adventure Boat, already loaded with paddleboards, and head out from Snug Harbour. The benefit of our boat is the ability to get to the best paddling locations without you having to paddleboard the entire way there.
Once you get to a secluded location, we will set anchor and head out on our paddleboards to glide quietly between the channels and bays of these freshwater granite islands. Our guides are Paddle Canada certified SUP instructors who are happy to give you some coaching on your paddling skills. With sheltered bays and inlets, quiet lagoons, and stunning coastal scenery, you’ll be able to fully immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the peace and tranquility that paddleboarding in this area offers. If a member of your group doesn’t want to paddle, then they can swim or relax on the boat while others do.
We paddle at a relaxed pace as we explore the channels and inlets between the islands. There is also time to have a swim in the crystal clear water before returning to the marina.

Departing from Snug Harbour, our captain will make a safe route plan based on the weather of the day. We usually head out to Franklin Island, which is covered in iconic windswept pine forests and surrounded with scenic bays and lagoons, making it a breathtaking place to explore by stand-up paddleboard.
Approximately 10 kilometres of paddling however we accommodate the abilities of the group. The Adventure Boat will travel approximately 15 kilometres.
